These sponge cloths are made from plant fibre, unbleached cotton, and a mineral salt called mirabilite that’s removed during production. The resulting cloth is 70% cellulose and 30% cotton, totally plastic free, and zero waste; they can be composted at the end of its useful life.
If You Care claim that one cloth can replace 15 rolls of kitchen paper. Each cloth can absorb around twenty times its own weight in liquid.
When your cloths are dirty, you can wash them in the washing machine around 300 times in water (up to a rather extreme temperature of 880 degrees C) before they need to be discarded.
Please rinse the cloths well before composting.
One box contains five cloths.
