Humble floss picks are made using corn starch, an alternative to plastic.
Each pick, or dental harp, has a double thread for more efficient and effective flossing.
The handle of these picks is made from corn and PP, which can be industrially composted. While they aren't immediately biodegradable, they are more environmentally friendly than their plastic equivalents.
While nylon is technically recyclable, few facilities currently exist, so please remove the floss if composting and place in your black bin.
