The UK throws away 2.5 billion takeaway cups each year. If we are to reduce waste on a large scale, we can't carry on as we are.
Shole's 120z cup is an easy-to-carry alternative to a takeaway cup, with a smaller capacity than 16oz to ensure it fits into your bag or backpack with ease. With more and more shops removing takeaway cups altogether, it's essential to have a reusable cup that's easy to carry and store. Even if your local coffee shop still offers takeaway cups, they probably also offer discounts for bringing your own!
Stainless steel is a durable and recyclable material, and the double wall construction of this cup ensures that your drink stays warm for up to 6 hours. A removable spill guard keeps the contents inside as you walk around. Powder coating gives the cup a sleek finish and an easy-to-grip surface.
Shole was created by two people who saw the extent of our plastic waste problem on BBC documentaries and were determined to do their bit to help. The company has a range of food flasks, coffee cups, and lunchboxes that will help your family move away from disposables.
More information: The Shole 12oz cup has a capacity of 370ml and can be used for hot liquids, keeping them warm for up to 6 hours. Don't allow hot liquid to touch the lid as it may burn your mouth. The cup is 11cm high, 9cm in diameter, and weighs 290g. Note that some cup holders are not compatible due to the wide base. Never put steel items in a microwave.
Caring for your Shole cup: Please wash your cup in warm, soapy water before its first use and after each subsequent use. Air-dry upside down and don't use abrasive cleaners or a dishwasher. A small amount of baking soda is a better alternative to scrubbing if the steel is stained, or try removing it gently with a coconut fibre cleaning brush.
