Beeswax food wraps are a perfect plastic free cling film alternative.
Cut your plastic use in the kitchen and switch to using these natural, reusable, zero waste beeswax food wraps.
Just warm one of the wraps between the palms of your hands until it becomes flexible, then use it to close containers or wrap your packed lunch. You can place the wrap around a food container, bowl, or directly around the food you want to preserve and it will naturally stick.
The cotton allows the food to breathe, extending its freshness, and the pine resin helps the wrap to gently cling to itself or a container.
The pretty packaging and awesome patterns also make these wraps ideal as a gift. You definitely can't say that about a roll of cling film.
This pack contains two large and two small wraps, made in the UK. All of them are compostable when they reach the end of their useful life. (They should last around a year.)
The more adventurous can opt to use these beeswax food wraps as firefighters once they're done wrapping food with them.
See the picture gallery to get an idea of the size, bearing in mind that I have freakishly small hands. The wrap design we have in stock is the same as our photos (stars and lobsters), and not the stock photo.
Note: Please treat your wraps with care. Don't heat them, expose them to flames, or use them to wrap raw meat or fish. Not suitable for microwave use.
Ingredients: GOTS certified cotton, pine resin, organic jojoba oil, locally sourced UK beeswax.
